Meet Ambassador Victoria Vergara

Meet Ambassador Victoria Vergara

A global icon in the surf and fashion world, Victoria epitomizes natural style–both in and out of the water.

Originally from Reunion Island, a French island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, she’s found a way to hybridize her childhood dreams and turn them into a successful career as a professional long boarder and European runway model. We’re pretty jazzed to have her as our first ever Global European Ambassador and can’t wait to see her continue to live her best life.

From the craziest thing that’s ever happened while surfing to her reccos for vintage shopping in France, Victoria gives us a little glimpse into her life abroad.

It hasn’t been easy to leave a tropical lifestyle for Hossegor. Everything is just really different; from the weather/waves to the people. It took me some time to adjust to it and find my rhythm, but I was fortunate enough to meet some amazing people who made me fall in love with the place, and with one of them ;)

What's your definition of ‘good style’ both in and out of the water?
Style to me is an extension of your personality and in my opinion, having good style means you own your own fashion and way of expressing yourself. Wearing an outfit or a bikini I choose myself gives me confidence and just makes me happy. There’s so much to play with and it doesn’t really matter is people like it or not because that’s yours and you should be always dressing for yourself.
